Advantages of Polyurethane Foam Caulking
1.High efficiency and energy saving, no gaps after filling, and strong bonding after curing.
2.It is shockproof and compressive, and will not crack, corrode, or fall off after curing.
3.With ultra-low temperature thermal conductivity, weather resistance and heat preservation.
4. High-efficiency insulation, sound insulation, waterproof and moisture-proof after curing.
What should be paid attention to during construction?
The normal use temperature of polyurethane foam is +5~+40℃, and the best use temperature is +18~+25℃. In the case of low temperature, it is recommended to place it at a constant temperature of +25 to +30 °C for 30 minutes before use to ensure its best performance. The temperature resistance range of the cured foam is -35℃~+80℃.
Polyurethane foam is a moisture-curing foam and should be sprayed on wet surfaces when used. The higher the humidity, the faster the curing. Uncured foam can be cleaned with cleaning agents, while cured foam is removed by mechanical means (sanding or cutting). The cured foam will turn yellow when exposed to ultraviolet light. It is recommended to coat the surface of the cured foam with other materials (cement mortar, paint, etc.). After using the spray gun, please clean it with special cleaning agent immediately. When replacing the material tank, shake the new tank well (at least 20 times), remove the empty tank, and quickly replace the new material tank to prevent the gun connection from curing.
The flow control valve and trigger of the spray gun control the amount of foam flow. Close the flow valve in a clockwise direction when spraying stops.
