Product Description
JB900 is One component, solvent free,non-fogging,permanently plastic butyl sealant formulated for primary sealing of insulating glass units.
Feature
It can keep its plastic and sealing properties in a wide temperature range.
Excellent adhesion properties on glass, aluminum a alloy, galvanized steel and stainless steel.
Minimum moisture vapour and gas permeation.
Excellent temperature stability:-30°C to 80°C.
Use Limitations
JB9980 silicone sealant should not be applied in the following conditions:
It could not be used for structural curtain wall glazing.
It should not contact with any acetic sealant.
Please read company’s technical files before application. Compatibleness test and bonding test must be done for construction materials before application.
INSTRUCTIONS
JB900 shall be applied at a temperature between 100℃and 150℃ using appropriate extruders.
The optimized volume output can be set up on the butyl extruder by adjusting pressure and temperature.
JB900 Butyl Sealant Black is directly applied to the spacer and offers excellent physical adhesion to glass and most commonly used warm edge and other standard spacers made of stainless steel, plastics, galvanized steel or combinations.
Spacer surfaces must be dry and free from solvents, oils, dust or grease. Condensation on the spacer surface must be avoided.
JB900 Butyl Sealant Black reaches its final and highest strength after the pressing process and has a very low gas and air permeability and therefore acts as primary barrier in an insulating glass edge design.
Storage
24months store in cool, dry and ventilated places
